The electronic journal "Language and Speech" has been published since 2021.
The International Standard Serial Number: ISSN 2738 -280X.
The e-journal is published twice a year.
It publishes articles in Armenian, English, Russian, and French.
Brief information about the authors is provided in those languages.
• The editorial board of the journal adheres to the accepted principles of publishing scientific articles.Any violation of copyright and rules of ethics is strongly prohibited.
• The editorial board makes impartial decisions based on the professional level and quality of the submitted articles.
• Articles are reviewed. The author or co-author of an article, as well as the scientific supervisors of the authors, cannot be a reviewer.
• The editorial board strongly opposes violations of the accepted principles of publishing scientific research, the most common of which are plagiarism, submission of previously published materials, misappropriation of scientific research results or falsification of data.In case of such violations, the article is rejected.
• The editorial board undertakes not to use the data contained in the articles before their publication, not to provide them to third parties, except for reviewers.
• Content changes and corrections to the articles are agreed with the author. In case of disagreement with the editorial board, the parties have the right to refuse to publish the article.
• The observations made in the articles published in the journal may not coincide with the views of the editorial board members. Nevertheless, the editorial board is responsible for the professional quality of the published articles.
• Articles are selected in order of priority, taking into account the thematic and content coverage of the journal.
• The decision to accept or reject the articles is made within a maximum of 2 months.
• Articles are published free of charge (no payment is requested).
REVIEW
Articles submitted to the editorial board are registered if they fully comply with the content, thematic format and requirements of the journal.
The editorial board may reject the articles if they do not comply with the content and scope of the journal. Submission and registration of articles isnot guaranteefor publication. Each article is reviewed to determine its compliance with the main content criteria: the goal and tasks of the investigation, its importance and relevance, novelty, theoretical and practical importance, accuracy of the used data, etc.
Taking the above-mentioned into consideration, the editorial board has the right to accept the article for publication, to send it for additional (double) review, to return it to the author for revision and re-editing, or to reject it.
The submitted and registered /considered/ articles are sent to double-blindpeer review where neither authors, nor reviewers know each other’s names or affiliations․
The editorial board does not provide the content of the review to the author, but briefly informs about the conclusions of the decision or the main reasons for rejection.
Based on the reviewresults, the editorial board decides to:
1) publish the article, 2) publish the article after some revision, 3) send the article for additional (double) review after making radical changes in it, 4) reject the article.
